George H. Moffett, the son of United States Navy Admiral W. A. Moffett, was the Annapolis Naval Academy's Featherweight Champion (1928). Wenatchee Daily World, April 21, 1928 (which includes a photo of him).
According to the text attached to the newswire photo of this page (which is not from the Wenatchee paper), dated March 15, 1928, Moffett was one of the star boxers of the Navy's Annapolis Team which had just finished another defeatless season--winning 55 bouts with men of leading American and Canadian colleges during the recent college tournament.
