Notes
- "Battling Nelson was ringside. Earlier, promotion advertising this bout -- saying that the popular Tacoma boxer Victor McLaglen was to fight Paris -- caused some controversy, because Victor denied he was contracted to fight Paris. So, local newpapers began reporting that an imposter "Vic McLaglen" was in the area. The real Vic McLaglen himself soon became bothered by all this, until it became known that the McLaglen to box Paris was his younger brother Arthur." - Tacoma Daily News
