  • Harrisburg is seeing action in the squared circle. Al Cox opened the professional boxing doors of Madrid Palestra with Johnny "Pug" Lehman of York as the matchmaker. The Cox and Lehman duet gave the boxing hungry fans a thriller when they had South Harrisburg's Pride, Rocky Luciano, 163, and George Williams, 159, of Baltimore, Md., as the headliners with Williams the victor. Luciano was fighting his 110th bout in facing the Baltimorean.
