Giacomo Panfilo competed at 1927 European Amateur Championships in Berlin, losing to Nisse Ramm.

According to Aldo Rossi's book Il Pugilato Professionistico in Italia, Panfilo had his last fight on November 8, 1930, when he was stopped by Giacomo Bergomas in Varese. (Exact round not mentioned.)

Panfilo died in Lendinara on August 9, 1932.
