Giorbis Barthelemy is the cousin of Rances Barthelemy, Yan Barthelemy and Leduan Barthelemy.

Arrest and Conviction

In May of 2004, Barthelemy was accused of false imprisonment, intimidating a witness and child abuse and was sentenced in 2007 to five years in prison. He served just over three years and was released in May of 2010. [1]

Disqualification

On August 4, 2012, Barthelemy was disqualified in the fifth round of his bout against Grady Brewer (29-14) for biting Brewer on the neck while the two were clinched.
