Goran Delic beat Marco Heinichen by UD in round 12 of 12

Universal Boxing Organization world cruiserweight champion Goran Delic retained his title with a unanimous decision over Marco Heinichen from Germany on December 13 at the Sport Hall Borik in Banja Luka, Bosnia Herzegovina.

In front of more than 6000 enthusiastic fans, Delic won the fight clearly and controlled the action on his way to scores of 120-108 (Rajko Djajic, Serbia), 120-109 (Ernst Salzgeber, Austria) and 118-110 (Zdravko Milojevic, Bosnia).

The UBO congratulates Mr. Delic on retaining his title, and promoter Ljubomir Vidovic of Crvena Zvijezda-Gradiska Promotion for staging a successful and entertaining event.

UBO Supervisor for the fight was Mr. Willibald Palatin of Austria, referee was Zvonko Rukavina from Croatia.

Delic is hoped to defend the title again as early as April 2009, and this time at the 20.000 seat soccer stadium he previously filled to capacity.
