Racette won the Canadian Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Title in 1980 and ran his
record to 13-0 before being halted by Jimmy Young in April of 1981

Before turning a pro boxer, Racette won a slew of "So You Think You're Tough" -tournaments (toughmen style) in British Columbia & Washington. Results of these tournament bouts have sometimes been mistakenly added to his pro record.<br>
