Notes

In an undercard upset on CES Boxing's Last Man Standing Boxing Card at Fox Theater, Foxwoods Resort Casino, October 2, 2010, super middleweight Greg McCoy of New Haven, Connecticut, went to 2-1-1, 1 kayo, with a third round TKO of unbeaten Reynaldo Rodriguez of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, now 5-1. McCoy had height and reach advantage, and used it, forcing Rodriguez to work on the inside and try to draw distance with McCoy on the ropes. However, when the fight went to the inside, McCoy landed right hand power shot counters, and overhand lefts and rights, leaving Rodriguez in trouble. McCoy dropped a fading Rodriguez with a right late in round two. In the third round, McCoy kept landing effective head combinations and dealt Rodriguez punishment. When a punch by McCoy in the third sent the tattooed Rodriguez staggering backwards around the ring, referee Richard Flaherty stopped the contest at 2:41.
