Disqualification

In Round 6, apparently angry from a Pitto punch that landed to the back of his head, Rios continued to punch Pitto as the referee attempted to break the two fighters. Refusing to break, Rios then pushed the referee away three times with an extended right glove. Following the third push, the referee turned and called an end to the bout ruling a disqualification. Rios immediately confronted the referee and was restrained initially by Pitto before Rios's corner came into the ring and pulled him away from the referee. After being calmed down by his corner, Rios momentarily began crying before returning to the referee and unsuccessfully trying to plead his case.
