Bout Summary

Despite his record, Acuna came out confidently and exchanged well. A right hand in the final seconds of Round 1 caught Pitto on the chin as he was backing up and sent him to the mat. He was up quickly. In Round 3, Pitto settled down and took control of the fight landing with crisp shots. Acuna was given a standing eight-count in Round 3 as the two exchanged. Pitto continued to land sharply in Round 4. A right hand sent Acuna falling back into the ropes. At that, Acuna was again issued a standing eight-count. Pitto came forward following the count and threw a barrage that led the referee to step in and wave an end to the bout as Acuna was clearly hurt and on the defensive.
