Obituary
"Tavito" was an enthusiastic journalist and sports fanatic and passionate about boxing. Friendly, enthusiastic, host and companion of the world of boxing, he fulfilled several of his dreams, including becoming a judge in his country and the WBA internationally.
Over time he became very attached to Panama for those reasons of admiration and closeness until he managed to meet his teacher, advisor and friend, Don Daniel Alonso. Jarquin with his teachings and motivation became the Guardian of Nicaraguan Boxing history. He had the opportunity to be named in some major WBA bouts. He was a staunch opponent of the government of Daniel Ortega and was attacked, persecuted and separated from many individual liberties including not being able to act as an international judge in one of the situations that he always expressed that the WBA left him alone and could influence more in favor of Jarquin since work is also a fundamental human right. Lately he was very enthusiastic about the artistic movements of his son and because he saw the opening of the bars so that his compatriots could see the light and move to other distant neighborhoods of their Nicaragua. His departure fills us with reflections on how fragile life is and how surprising that today we can be alive together with our loved ones. "Tavito" departed on an eternal journey from his radio trench doing what he liked and dedicating his life, Journalism and left as a general of life in full battle. His example and character are unforgettable but he makes us reconsider if we are really living fully for ourselves or just surviving from day to day. See you soon, "Tavito".]
