- Date: 1919-12-15
- Location: Southside Market House, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
- Referee: Loudon Campbell
Notes
Greb won the newspaper decision. (Coshocton Tribune) The Pittsburgh Post gave Greb 9 of the 10 rounds, losing only the 4th. Greb toyed with Kramer for 7 rounds, hitting him a lot but not trying to punish him. The referee started to stop it at the end of the seventh, but the crowd protested. Greb got down to work in the last two rounds and severely punished Kramer, but couldn't stop him. Kramer, to his credit, always did his best, although badly outclassed. As to Greb, he didn't take the fight seriously until the promoter and referee got on him. Possibly he wanted to spare his hands.
