Greb won the newspaper decision according to the Philadelphia Public Ledger (Paul Zabala), Philadelphia Record, and the Pittsburgh Post. Kramer gave Greb a lot of trouble in the first four rounds, landing short, hard smashes to the head. Greb was wild in his punches. Harry staged a sensational rally in the 5th and 6th, battering Kramer around the ring with a two-fisted attack. He had the edge at the end but it was a pretty close call for him
