Notes
Newspaper decision from the Pittsburgh Post. The Post reported that Miske landed the two hardest blows of the fight, one in the 6th and one in the 9th. "Greb carried the fighting at all stages and dictates the terms upon which they met." Miske finished well, but Greb's early attack had tired Billy so that he couldn't take advantage of the opportunity. Sportswriter Harry Keck of the post gave Greb six rounds, Miske three rounds, and one even. Another Post writer, Florent Gibson, gave Greb five rounds, Miske three, and two even. Both writers thought that Greb's two best rounds were the fifth and eighth. It was a hard fight, but not a sensational one. According to wire service reports, although Greb led through much of the first 8 rounds, he took a tremendous beating from Miske in rounds 9 and 10. Attendance 2,000.
