Notes
Greb won every round. (Pittsburgh Gazette Times). The Pittsburgh Press gave Greb 9 of 10 rounds. The Pittsburgh Post reported that Greb won clearly but Roper "hit Harry harder and more often than Harry has been hit for years," and made a great impression. Roper was also fast on his feet and taller than Greb, who fought in a crouch. Greb started fast and decisively won the first two rounds. The third was even. Greb won the fourth but Roper did some effective hitting. Roper staggered Greb badly in the fifth, which was his best round. In the 6th, 7th, and 8th, Greb got inside and did great work to take all three rounds. Roper had a good ninth, hurting Greb again. Harry battered Roper to the body to win the 10th.
