According to the Pittsburgh Post, "the fight was Greb's all the way. Keiser had a good fifth round, Greb won 17 rounds, and one was even. Keiser was in bad shape in the 13th. His strategy was to let Greb fight himself out, but it didn't work. In the last three rounds, Keiser did little but hold on, to make it to the end." However, Fay was not knocked down.
