Notes

"Greb landed effective blows at will and at no time was in danger." (Fort Wayne News and Sentinel) The Pittsburgh Post said that Harry won ten rounds, and Chip two (the 5th and 6th when he hurt Harry). Otherwise Greb ovrwhelmed Joe with a withering barrage. Chip marched in and did his best, but his foot and hand speed was so much slower than Greb's that his punches were mostly futile. Greb eased up in the last three rounds and let Chip stay the limit, but Joe got a "nice beating."...Another account agreed and noted that Greb did not display standard ring form. "He has a style and system all his own and today there is not another boxer in the country who even imitates him, much less practices his methods."
