Newspaper decision from the Pittsburgh Post. "Greb made a great rally in the 6th round to pull out a draw. "If a hairline decision was absolutely necessary Wenzel would probably get it." "The scrap was a hummer...Wenzel fought hard all the time and did most of the forcing..Wenzel, taller than his opponent, with (about) five pounds advantage in weight, was not quite so clever..but he was a willing mixer at all times." They didn't shake hands at the outset. The first round was fierce, but even. Greb had a shade in the second after opening the round with a 30-second barrage. The third was practically even. The fourth was Wenzel's big round. He jabbed Greb till his head bobbed "like a fisherman's cork" and whipped over his right tellingly. Wenzel added to his lead in the 5th. Greb won the sixth handily, as Wenzel was leg weary but in no danger. Paxton in "The Fearless Harry Greb" also lists the result as a draw.
