Photo #2 Harry Reeve was a soldier in World War I and badly injured. When he resumed his boxing career after the war he was able to box at a high level, even though he never completely recovered from his war injuries. Reeve was of English-Hebrew heritage. Won the UK Light Heavyweight Title in October 1916 which was certainly one of his most significant victories in his fight career. Generally fought as a Heavyweight after returning to the ring in 1919 so never defended the Light Heavyweight Title he had won in 1916.
