• Ryan took a standing 8-count in the 1st round as he sat on the ropes after he got nailed with a vicious left to the body, he got up and took another strong left to the body and fell to his knees, forcing the 8-count again. Ryan got up and survived the round.
• 40 seconds into the 2nd round Rahman launched a double-jab, straight right and a left hook to the body which dropped Ryan to one knee and at the count of four Ryan's corner threw in the towel.
• Data Boxing reported that Rahman dominated the bout with a power left jab, scoring 31/44 70%. Total blows were Rahman 73/97 75%, Ryan 13/40 33%.
