Notes:
- Sanders went down just 7 seconds into Round 3 from what appeared to be a clean right hook to the body. Nonetheless, the referee never began a count. Lundy never received a warning for a low blow and from all indications it was ruled a slip. Sanders, however, stayed on one knee for several seconds and was allowed recovery time. As the CSS announcers said, "I don't think it was a slip. I think it was a hit to the body that the ref missed." Another added, "I'm not sure what the hell it was. Was that a low blow? From my perspective it didn't appear low."
- Sanders warned in Round 3 for holding.
- Sanders down 2:25 into Round 3 from an accumulation of punches.
- Sanders hurt in Round 4 from a combo: 2 left hooks to the head, right uppercut, left hook to the head, right hook to the body. All of which landed. Sanders stumbled forward and held to keep from going down.
- Lundy switched between southpaw and orthodox stances numerous times during the final two rounds.
