Career Review

In 1972, Siler was charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of a friend. Siler was found guilty and sentenced to Belle Glades Correctional Institute.

After serving a 7-year sentence (1972-1979), Siler was released, and claimed he was a new man. He said he was now a Christian, and had beaten his alcohol addiction.

Following his release from prison, Siler started his own construction business, which was successful in the late 1980s.
