In 1952 Homer Clees Homer Clees of Roswell, MN made the final of the Chicago Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions at welterweight with the verdict being awarded to Herschel Acton and represented Chicago at the Intercity Golden Gloves with the verdict being awarded to Johnny Eubanks at welterweight.
