Dutch heavy Baby de Voogd met the German Horst Herold in a boring 8 rounder where both men walked flat footed in the ring and threw feeble punches, many of them with open gloves. At close range both men swung wildly and used the ropes as "firing ramp" without much effect. Voogd won the fight because of cleaner hits.
