"California's Don Johnson outpointed Howard Winstone, British and European champion, in a 10 rounder at Olympia Stadium Friday night. Johnson surprised the crowd of 7,000 with his superior boxing. He cut Winstone over the left eye in the 3rd round and was going all out at the end of the fight with the Welshman in dire trouble.
