Paul Anthony Basilio, 92, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Paul was born in Canastota, New York to the late Joseph and Mary Picciano Basilio. He was the former owner and operator of Carmen Basilio's Sausage, later Basilio's Sausage, for 61 years. His food-stand was a long time staple of the New York State Fair, being the 2nd oldest restaurant represented there, and Mr. Basilio was the oldest living Concessionaire at the State Fair, last working and laughing with their customers in 2018. Mr. Basilio was a man of small stature, but HUGE heart, living life fully and leaving his daughter and grandchildren with memories and stories to tell for many years to come. He was the younger brother of Carmen Basilo.
