Jamie Thomas was a middleweight journeyman out of Cincinnati, Ohio. While he never reached great levels of success in his eight-year professional career, he shared the ring with Marvin Hagler, Lindell Holmes, Sugar Ray Seales, Rocky Mattioli, Fulgencio Obelmejias, and Tony Licata, to whom Thomas lost a split decision. His most notable win came in October of 1978 when he avenged a split-decision loss by knocking out Chuck Mince in the rematch.
