Al Proctor of Lockport was a middleweight boxer of class. He was also a veteran of the great war. He took an active interest in flying and became an aviator. Yesterday he was dashed to his death in Los Angeles, when he was instructing a student flier. Proctor was employed by the Aero corporation of California at the time he met his end. Many friends of the young man of this vicinity will mourn his untimely death.-11/14/1927 North Tonawanda Evening News.
