- Richie Smith made a comeback on April 8, 1991 in Ocala, Florida. Smith won a 4-round decision over pro-debuting Lonnie Goldstein who was a highly-touted amateur boxer. Following the decision, Goldstein collapsed and was rushed to a local hospital where he died on April 10, 1991. Smith never fought again.
