"The Bomber" Brian Strege prior to his pro debut fought a number of backyard matches across the country. Most notable of these was a knockout loss to "The Assassin" Kenny Foster.

A highly popular figure around internet circles, many felt he was "robbed" against David Dumas as promoter Stacy Goodson urged Strege to call it quits after round one. The rematch, though in high demand, never happened.

After his pro career last fight with Robbie Crawley, Strege continued fighting in arranged backyard matches. Some of these can be found on YouTube.
