Jimmy Anderson, also known as a ball player in the Northern Indiana League, reportedly turned pro New Year's Day 1910 at the Indianapolis Mitchell Club, when he knocked out two boxers on the same card. By March 1914 he had fought 38 times, winning 27 fights by knockout, his best wins being a 14th round KO over Sailor Bradley in Pueblo, Co and a 10 round win over Tommy Gary in Indianapolis. Anderson, 33, died in Detroit following an operation.
