According to his application in digital form on the U.S. Passport Applications, 1795-1925 database on Ancestry.com, one Lorenzo Scafani, a "Teamster," was in San Francisco California on or about April 14, 1899. On March 6, 1922, he swore that all of the information on the application was true. Scafani planned to sail from San Francisco about March 24, 1922 and to travel to Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti for "Personal business." Note- According to his boxing record on BoxRec, Larry Jones had at least four bouts in Australia during 1922.
