Mark Leduc won an Olympic Silver Medal 1992 for Canada. He lost in the final bout against Cuban Hector Vinent by decision. On the road to the final bout, Leduc beat future WBA Lightweight Champion Leonard Dorin. After retiring from boxing, following a brief professional career, Leduc came out of the closet in 1994, and announced that he was gay [1]. He later found work in the film industry constructing sets. Leduc was found dead in a hotel sauna, of an apparent heat stroke.
