MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NEW YORK, Monday Jan. 23, 1933. —Two Buffalo amateur boxers, Joe Tambe and Tommy Howells, bantamweight and featherweight, respectively, emerged with New York State championships by winning their final bouts in the State-wide tournament contested here Saturday night, before a great crowd of 12,000.
