Mickey Erno was an Italian-American flyweight who was active in the Los Angeles area during the 1920s and 1930s. Although a preliminary fighter at bigger venues, Erno claimed the World 'Fleaweight' Title (106 pounds) when he won a decision in a ten-round bout with Bobby Mars in Pasadena, California on April 7, 1927. Promoter Morrie Cohen staged the bout.
On January 17, 1933, Erno's bullet-riddled body was found in the San Gabriel Flood Channel, five miles northeast of Long Beach, California.
