IBC (Promotional Company)

The International Boxing Club (IBC) was a prominent promotional outfit of the 1940s and 1950s, headed by promoter Jim Norris. It was dissolved in October of 1960. It is to be distinguished from the current International Boxing Council (IBC)--a governing body that sanctions world title bouts.
