Ilmo Antero Lounasheimo ( 16 December 1920 Viipuri – 14 July 2014 ) Lounasheimo was an international boxing referee between 1957 and 1967 and participated in the 1963 EC competitions as a referee.

Lounasheimo served as the chairman of TUL's boxing committee in 1955–1960, a member of the boxing cooperation committee in 1956–1959, and a member of the delegation of the Finnish Olympic Association in 1957–1967. He was a member of the boxing commission of the International Association of Sports Journalists (AIPS) since 1971. In 1976–1985, he was a board member of the Finnish Radio and TV Journalists' Association.

He was also a Finnish sports journalist specializing in boxing. He used the pen names Jab and Kohokoukku as a writer .

Lounasheimo had a civilian job with the State Railways. He worked as a freelance sports reporter since 1951. He was a permanent assistant for, among others, Urheiluin Kuva-Aita in the years 1953–1968, TUL magazine in the years 1954–1959, Suomen Urheilulehti and Uude Finland since 1960, and Iltalehti since 1980. He worked for radio and television as a permanent assistant since 1958. He was a reporter for the Summer Olympics since 1960 and the Winter Olympics since 1972.

Lounasheimo's literary output includes, among others, the boxing-related works Miljoonanyrkit (1966), Hyvät nyrkkeilyn ysvät (1974) and Kehän sankarit (1987) about Elis Ask , as well as Kulta-Kalle ervait (1970) about Olympic weightlifting champion Kaarlo Kangasnieme.
