Irineo Flores was one of four fighting brothers (beside himself Macario Flores, Francisco Flores, Elino Flores, who came from the Tondo District of Manila, Luzon, Philippines. There is some description of the fighting family, complete with photographic montage,in the Manila Daily Bulletin, 18 January 1922, on the occasion of their home burning down.

Irineo had two fights in Australia and two in the United States, but his first fight in the USA (supposedly a win) has not yet been traced.
