Jack 'Kid' Berg 138 lbs beat Billy Wallace 137 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

"Jack 'Kid' Berg, 138, of England, retained his junior welterweight title by winning a 10-round decision from Billy Wallace, 137, of Cleveland at Olympia Arena. After 10 rounds of fast milling, mostly by Berg, there was no question of who would receive referee Elmer 'Slim' McClelland's decision. With the exception of one effective blow in the 1st round, a right to Wallace's head, there was little damage done in the early rounds. Most of the fighting was at close range, and although Wallace slipped over an occasional hard punch, neither fighter was hurt. Berg, far out in front, coasted along in the 6th and 7th, but in the last three rounds, cut loose and made a punching bag of Wallace in the 8th, but his punches were light." -Associated Press
