- Referee: Jack O'Sullivan
- Judge: Charles F Mathison
- Judge: Jimmy Collins
The Delaney-Marullo scrap was far from the wild affair that had been expected. Delaney, boxing superbly, was content to win as easily as possible. Jack merely boxed his way to victory. He kept his long left in Marullo's face continually. Tony could not get past that left. The New Orleans boy again demonstrated that he is willing, but as a boxer he is not in Delaney's class.
