Jack Reddick beat Heinie Zimmerman by NWS in round 10 of 10

Jack Reddick shaded Heinie Zimmerman in the feature match held at the Beaver Boxing Club. But the margin was a very narrow one and the little glory that was gained went to Zimmerman. The bout attracted an overflow crowd to the north end club and it was the unanimous opinion of all those present that the main go was the most disappointing yet given at the club.

Billed as the biggest attraction that tho Beaver Club has yet managed to offer, the spectators were all on edge when the main bout was announced. But it was nothing but clinch after clinch with Reddick the chief offender.

Reddick won the bout because he landed the few blows that were struck during the bout. Zimmerman was willing. One must give him credit for that. And had it not been for his aggressiveness there might not have been a fight at all. Zim. tried his best but was simply lacking in the knowledge of the game. Reddick knew just enough to keep away from the punches and had he been willing to exchange blow for blow there might have been a real battle.

Tho only reason that Reddick earned a slight shade was for his somewhat strong finish in the tenth round when he tore into his opponent as he meant business. Jack landed a few stiff punches and gave proof that he has intent possibilities if the fighting instinct is injected into his make-up.
