Ward and Chaney Draw.
Jack Ward, champion feather-weight of New Jersey, and Jack Chaney, champion feather-weight of Maryland, sparred ten rounds to a draw at the Monumental Amphitheatre last night. The first two rounds were pretty even. Then Chaney's body blows began to count, and up to the eighth round Chaney did much the better fighting. Ward was undaunted, and during the last three rounds he was much in evidence. The referee wanted an extra round, but the police forbade it.
