According to his obituary in the December 28, 2016 The Trentonian:

James Arthur "June Bug" Livingston, Jr., 60 of Trenton, NJ.

He departed this life on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Capitol Health Regional Medical Center. Born in Trenton, NJ, June Bug was a lifelong area resident. He was educated in the Trenton Public School System.

James started boxing in 1970. He quickly took to the sport and won his first Golden Gloves title in 1972. He had 209 fights over the course of his career with an outstanding record of 196 wins and 13 losses.

Some of his accomplishments include being a three time Golden Gloves Champion, a three time AAU Champion, National Golden Gloves and AAU runner up, Original Champion World Games, #1 Ranked Flyweight, USA Boxing Team 1973 and Bronze Medalist 1973 Pan Am Games.

Bug had a tremendous impact in boxing and dedicated his life to training hundreds of kids in Trenton. In addition to a love of boxing, he was also a professional barber, he worked at Happy’s, Mason’s, Bottom’s Up, Razor Sharp and Walt’s Barbershop.

He was predeceased by his parents, James Sr. and Laurcella Livingston; sister, Brenda Buchanan; two brothers-in-law, Frazier Colvin and Lester Buchanan; a sister-in-law, LaTonya Rowell. James is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Kim Mingo-Livingston; son, Jahmil Livingston; two stepchildren, Nineshia Smith and Anthony LeRoy Smith Jr.; his mother-in-law, Annie Mae Covington-Mingo; two sisters, Laura Colvin and Harriet Livingston; three brothers, Maurice Whitfield (Nicole), Wayne Bingham and Manuel Whitfield; six grandchildren, Azim Haqq, James Willis, Natalya, SakyraSmith and Ja’Niya Upshur; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins including Simpson Wheeler, William “Butchie” Hayes and Leroy James Gore and extended loving family members and a special friend, Terrance McCoy.

Funeral Services will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00pm at Campbell Funeral Chapel 1225 Calhoun St. Trenton, NJ 08638 Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Friday from noon to 1pm at the chapel.
