Jason Cintron 144 lbs beat Martinus Clay 148 lbs by UD in round 6 of 6

In a battle of welterweights, Jason Cintron of Pennsylvania, the brother of contender Kermit Cintron, pitched a shutout in a successful comeback, with a six round decision over veteran Martinus Clay of Wilson, North Carolina. Sporting a red mohawk haircut, Cintron used overhand left jabs to win nearly every round. Clay landed a few punches here and there, but was noteworthy because Clay could have been disqualified due to the numerous warnings he got from the referee for throwing low blows. Clay was also warned for back punches (which could have injured the kidneys). Nonetheless, Clay did did not have any points taken away. Note judge Dewey LaRosa scored it closer at 58-56.
