Bout Summary
Just before the bell to end the fifth round, a hard right hand connected on the jaw of Carrera and right after the bell, he went down. Although he looked hurt, he got up immediately. Referee Steve Smoger rightfully issued an eight-count and declared it a knockdown. In round six, a right hook followed by two brutal uppercuts knocked Carrera down. Carrera barely got up, but one of his cornermen was already in the ring to stop the bout.
