- Well traveled 20-8 journeyman Jerry Belmontes exposed the 21-0 padded record of Golovko, who could not mount an offense for the most part, and looked more like a four round fighter despite his record. Belmontes had to trouble with Golovko, who failed to mount an offense of any kind, and in some rounds threw nothing at all. Belmmontes, however, was landed singly placed power shots and scoring consistently.
