"Jesus (Little Poison) Pimental dished up another toxic dose Thursday night and recorded the 50th knockout of his career as he stopped Irish Jackie Burke in the 4th round of their scheduled 10 round bout at Olympic Auditorium. The 118 pounder from Mexico was in command from the opening bell. Jesus caught up with Burke, the Canadian bantam champ, late in the 3rd with a jarring left that rocked the Canadian. Burke attempted to battle back in the 4th, but Jesus stormed back with a left hook that dropped Burke for the mandatory eight count. Pimental stayed on his victim again, catching him with a left hook that sent him down for another eight count and then put him out with a sharp right that kept the Canadian on the canvas for several minutes." -Long Beach Press-Telegram
