"The British jr. lightweight bout between Jimmy Anderson, Waltham Cross, 129 1/2, and Jimmy Revie, Stockwell, 128 1/2, was a thrilling and spectacular contest in which both showed plenty of punching power. Revie held the advantage for most of the way, but ran out of steam at the end of the 8th. He was badly beaten in the 9th, in which he was forced to take counts of 8 and 9. Revie rose gamely and was being battered around the ring when referee Wally Thom stepped in." -Ring Magazine, June 1968 issue
