"Jimmy Leto of Hartford, favorite boxer in western Massachusetts circles, was awarded an unpopular 10-round decision over Cocoa Kid of this city last night at the New Haven Arena before a gathering of 2,700 fans. While Leto was awarded the verdict by referee Jimmy Galvin of Waterbury, it appeared as thought the Kid had had the edge.
