Jimmy McLarnin beat Frankie Sands by PTS in round 4 of 4

    • McLarnin fought in the opening bout of the show, and was reported as the hit of the show. He gave Sands a sound thrashing, with a swift left hand, and a busy style. His manager sprayed water from his mouth into McLarnin's face in between rounds.

    Midleweight champion Harry Greb was ringside and was introduced to the crowd, as he was scheduled to face Jack Reeves on the next Oakland show on February 22nd.
